I personally have not noticed this, however I have been told often that adolescents may experience more paranormal phenomenon around them - and attract entities more frequently because of their personal energy levels.

Teenagers change drastically over time both physically and emotionally. Often they experience very strong emotions as well. Its believed by some that this affects their aura, and the frequency of the energy they emit. Because theirs is so different from other age groups, it may be possible that more activity happens around them then to others.

I haven't heard that apparitions appear more to adolescents than others. That's interesting, if true. If that's the case, what would cause it?  I'd suspect a number of things -- the stress of peer pressure and fitting in, a vivid imagination, puberty, a greater willingness to believe in magic and fantasy at their young age, etc. The combination of stresses from growing up and the willingness to accept fantastic things may make them more susceptible to dreams they later interpret as apparitions.

I have been surrounded by spirits all my life. I am a regular ghost magnet.  I think they can sense I see them and they come to me.  A lot of them seem to just want someone  who knows they are there.  Others want to talk and I can't hear them,  but they just keep blabbing on anyway.

I don't think they are necessarily attracted, although some would disagree. However - you could assume that in certain cases apparitions will be around quite more often that we care to notice, and it is widely believed that children can see and hear more of the activity than adults. We lose that ability to "see" these apparitions through lack of interest, de-programming (loss of fear of the bogey man) and can actually outgrow the ability. Only true psychics and mediums continue to be connected after adolescence.

De-bunkers can know chime in that there is no proof of spirits, psychics or mediums and anyone that can prove it should seek out James Randi's million dollars.

Unlike the previous two answerers, I do not understand your question that well. I'll try to speculate, nevertheless.

When it comes to adolescents, a great deal of stuff has to do with hormones.

The so-called 'incubi' which appear in myths all around the planet are actually the sexual impulses which awake in their subconscious; it may go very far, many young people (girls especially) describe handsome 'angel/demons' who haunts them. Repeatedly. At night, when it's sleeping time.

As many other things adolescents come across, spiritual awakening is also more accentuated. But so is their imagination.

All in one, it is very natural.

Who says apparitions discriminate based on age?  If anything, young adolescents, due to their hormonal changes, could be more susceptible to *perceiving* paranormal events.  This would further support the idea that it's people who are haunted, not places.
