  1. Snakes are particularly attracted by musical vibrations. If you play flute a snake will readily be attracted. But mind you snakes are very treacherous and they lose no moment to bite.

  2. berries usually...

    Or anykind of warm burrow.

  3. rodents!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. water.  there was one snake that was climbing my leg when I was in maryland and it was because I was hosing myself down from the beach.

  5. There are HEAPS of things that attracts snakes. Chickens, dogs, cats the list goes on.

  6. Rodents in your area.  I used to love to catch snakes as a kid.  Go out into wooded areas and look around; try rivers or streams too.  They are good for finding water snakes.  Be careful because there are copperheads and norhern timber rattlers in Penn. (I'm in WVa.)  they are poisonous.  Poisonous snakes have more oval shaped eyes and a triangular head; non-poisonous will have round eyes and a rounder head.
