What baby formula do you think is best?

i use S26 gold

have you used Karicare before? is it anygood?

i always used s26 gold as well but when i had my first i used lactigen its cheap and no different

I used S26 for both of my kids

but we did try karicare & a few others to see how they would react to it.

it really just depends on the child itself

(my two didn't feed well on the other brands that we tried)

all you can do is try different brands.

(My mum, sister, sister in law  I all think that S26 is th best)

yes I have used it before and I would recommend it. Karicare was the only formula my son would take but my daughter is on heinz nurture because she wouldn't take the karicare.

I had my son on S26, but found it was too rich for him.  He's on karicare now and it's great!  Not nearly as much wind.

He also has acid reflux, so even though I had him on the AR S26, it was making his reflux worse.  When I told my maternal nurse that I'd switched, she told me a lot of mums found S26 was too much for their baby's tummy.

I'm very happy with Karicare - and his reflux improved a lot once I switched him to it :)

Personally I think S26 gold is overpriced and no different to some other brands. I don't know if you are in Australia or not but its the most expensive formula here and I think new mums are convinced that the most expensive is the best. Obviously you want the best for your child but I used Nestle Lactogen for all 3 of my kids and they thrived. Its alot cheaper than S26 but the price had nothing to do with it. My mum used Lactogen on me and my brother and sister and my grandparents used if for 5 kids. Its been around forever so it must be alright. Good luck!!!

I wouldn't know. I've always used breast milk, myself!

I would ask your baby's doctor which is the best formula for your baby. Since every babies intake of formula is different.
