Is their a particular website that lists compression of all top brand golf balls?

  1. Can't say that Steve S is right for all balls are compression tested by the maker of the brand. A soft cover, harder core still has a measured compression rating as does a hard cover, soft core or soft cover, soft core or hard cover, hard core which would be similiar to hitting a rock. Your answer is in the hands of the pro shop which sells those balls.


  2. Any modern ball doesnt have a compression rating. It is a thing of the past. Balls are constructed differently than years ago, and they are now based on handicap / what you need the ball to do.

    Example: If you put a pro v 1 in a compression gauge, it will read 90, but the core of the ball is closer to 54 compression.
