I'm getting a system pretty soon here, and a friend hooked me up with a box for duel 10's. The 10's, the amp, and the wiring will cost about $210, but I've seen a few package deals for a single 12 with box and amp for like $180, what would give me more bang for my buck?

  1. 2 10s will move more air than 1 12

The 12 will be able to reproduce lower freq. I buddy of mine had a single 12 Boston and I loved the way it sounded.

For more noise, take the 10s. I'm not all about how loud it is, I think I would go with the 12. Just my opinion

  2. I have two 10" RF P1's getting 200RMS each to make 400RMS in sealed boxes.

    I had a Pioneer Premier 12" in a ported box getting 400RMS.

Totalling the same amount of power. In the end, the 12" was louder, deeper and more bass.

With the right box, the 12 will be deeper and more bass.

  3. depends on alot of things 1 12 in the right size box will slam harder and louder then 2 10s in a box that is 2 small if the box is really big and good size then the 2 10s should slam about the same or harder

  4. I WOULD GET THE 12's FOR A DIPPER BASS BUT THE 10's ARE ONLY GOOD FOR YOUR HIGHS

  5. depends on the brand, mtx makes good speakers for bass, for sound quality  alpine or kenwood 6x9
