  1. If your bank id is cirrus it will be excepted in most bank machines but if you have a visa or mastercard which are excepted almost everywhere

  2. Most of the big ones, just ask your card's bank. Yeah, it's pricey be warned!

  3. none just bring cash "

  4. well in ireland you know banks were only introduced in the last ten years because of our great economic boom..before that we all saved our pennies under our pillow...now though we only take irish bankcards...meaning if you dont have one youl have to bring all your spending in cash and its easier for us to rob you.............note my sarcasm..if your coming to ireland you should really get used to it especially if your an american!!!

we take all major bankcards in ireland..probably just like you do at home!!..you shouldnt have any problems with any of the atms and if you do any of the banks will do you a cash advance with a visa or mastercard or any major credit card..because we can do that now..now that they have taught us!!

  5. Any card with Cirrus or Plus logo are fine.

Yes I'm afraid my city is one of the most expensive in Europe, especially eating out.

  6. any credit card, debit cards with CIRRUS logo can be used at most ATMs, its the same as going anywhere in Europe really.

Dublin is expensive , pint is 5 euro, a meal 12 euro up (I'm talking main course only). there is a higher rate of VAT, 21% so that does make a difference,

  7. Any Visa or MasterCard will be fine. I don't know of any country that uses cards and doesn't take these two. American express is quite good also(but not so reliable) but be carefull if you have Switch, Maestro, Visa electron or solo because these aren't as widely accepted.
