I need to register my business with a bank to setup a bank account to register it with the Department of Revenue in PA. Which bank would be the best to go with, for a business, not a personal account. Thanks in advance for all your help. : )

  1. If you are just starting up your best bet is a small local bank that will give you personal service and where you can meet with and deal with the officers of the bank.

If you are in one of the larger cities it is harder because all of the banks claim they are small business friendly, but most only pay lip service and aren't really that interested in small commercial accounts.  Again you are better off with a smaller bank (if you can find one) that will give you better service.

DO NOT PICK OUT A BANK BASED ON SERVICE CHARGES!  Cheapest isn't best, and since you don't know what the future holds in store you need the best banking connections you can make.

    Hope this helps
