I'm going to Dublin for St Paddy's weekend with a few mates and I'm wondering what are the most rocking bars to visit. Also, which ones I can get away with wearing trainers in.

  1. try Eamonn Dorans in temple  bar. It gets a bit crowded later on in the evening, so get in early. But there are often live bands playing there.

Also try the temple bar music centre. They have live bands too.

You could also try The Neptune bar on Abbey Street. Its a downstairs bar. To get to it, go onto O Connell street via the O Connell bridge. Take a turn right on abbey street ( where you see the LUAS tracks go ) and its on the left hand side, and you should see a pub called "The Flowing Tide ".Neptune bar is downstairs.

Another bar (one of my fav's) is Bruxelles. Its just off Grafton Street before you come to HMV. You know it cos it has a Statue of Phil Lynott outside it.

The international bar on Wicklow street is another !!

    Finally, Whelans of Wexford St.

I've passed on a link below, and you can see all the bars I mentioned above on it.

    Have a good one !!
