  1. Guitars,amp,microphone,healthy set of lungs,drums,good stagenames.

  2. Stamina and a good healthy set of lungs/chords

Also, you may want to invest in a decent mic - maybe a ShureSM58 (they are the industry standard and not too pricey)

Most venues have PA's so I wouldn't buy anything really really expensive until you have had some success/made some money

    :)

  3. Well a mic, a stand, a sound stereo. You could also try a cordless mic if you want. You don't need much for the singer..

all a drummer needs is drums and the person that really needs the most is the guitarist. So yep.....

    *have fun singing

  4. Only a mic, mic stand, and maybe a music stand if you're doing wedding gigs. A previous poster suggested the SM-58... you can't go wrong with that mic.

Any PA gear is usually a band expense.

  5. a PA system with all the adequate cables and mics needed. a basic pa system will include imputs for vocal/mics and instrument imputs and speakers. if you are lucky you will also get a mixer.

a good place to look is muscians friend. com.
