What basketball position should i play?

i am 5 foot 8 inches and i am very skillful and i have good handle and i can jump very high, i can be a bit selfish but i normally pick out good passes

You could be like a Tayshaun Prince. You can play point, shooting guard, or small foward.

id say it sounds like youd make a good shooting guard. i think youre a bit short to play small forward and you might be mismatched with bigger dudes too often.

depends how old you are really.  if you're still going to grow (try to picture your height when your 18/19) then you could play SG/SF.

based on what you've described as your skills, you would be a combo guard, ie PG/SG.  if you're in high school, it's a perfect time to hone your skills in that.  by height you're limited to the guard position (like A.I), so work on being light and fast with good court vision and passing.  that said, also be able to knock down open shots (or create your own).  like i said, think A.I

I would recommend you to the shooting guard.  Therefore you won't be handing the ball too much, but you still will be receiving a lotta passes.  Also you have the ability to shoot over defenders with your good hops.  And kudos on you for atleast pointing out your weakness.  Most ppl here ask what position they should play and they display this prestige resume like I can jump high, i can pass like Kidd, i can work hard and im fast and etc.  Atleast you mentioned your weak points, good job, makes my job a lil easier.
