What bedding do you use in a guniea pigs cage?

I use carefresh bedding but i've heard that your supposed to newspaper underneath it or something? in addition carefresh bedding is expensive any other bedding you reccomend?

i just use dust extracted woodshavings not sawdust as it's too fine but not cedar shevaings as it contaions oils that are toxic

newspaper is good as it's absorbebs the wee

makes cleaning easier and is warm they alsolike to nibble on it
