  1. you'd get nothing, your girlfriend would have to sign on and receive jobseekers allowance but other then that you are not entitled to any help unless you can't meet your rent costs but even then they would question why you would move into a place you couldn't afford to rent.  ÃƒÂ‚£230 is enough to live on, i did on £150. Your girlfriend needs to get a job and help out a little i guess!

  2. Nothing, Neither you or your GF will qualify for anything once you live together, she will lose her JSA as you are working and will have to support her

You will not get Housing Benefit as you are under 25 and Housing benefit is restricted to a single room rent for this age

You wont get Tax Credits as you have no children and are under 25 years old

  3. Tell your girfriend to get a job like everyone else.

  4. There are many hard working people living in low wage areas of the UK bringing up a family on what you earn.  If your g/f gets a job you wont need to sponge off other tax payers will you.

  5. Your girlfriend would be entitled to Job-seekers Allowance. If she gets a flat she would be entitled to Housing Benefit and Council Tax benefit while on means tested benefit (JSA). She will have to let them know you are going to live with her and you work, this may affect her claim. When it comes to you, you may be entitled to Council tax benefit and maybe housing benefit. You should look into working tax credits also. It is not a good idea to move in with someone who will be relying on you. Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into before you make any decisions. When you say your own home it would have been nice to knwo if you meant mortgage as I could have possibly given more advice.

  6. You would have to contact the benefits office, you may be entitled to working tax credit or housing benefit but they would be able to tell you.
