What benefits do you need to be on to qualify for free school meals?

For my school,you're parents have to make 25,000$ a year or under.

You need to be in receipt of child tax credits.

You will need to send off proof that you get tax credits  and they will advise the school that you are eligible of free school l dinners.

They will also write to you to tell you of their decision.

It takes about a week to get sorted out.

Child tax credit  - you have to earn under a certain amount which means you will get child tax credit
