I think it just gives council workers less to do so they have more time for breaks!

It might help clear some trash but what is really needed is cleaning the minds of the graffiti daubers!

I started visiting Australia in the mid 60s when it was a clean and lovely place.   I finally gave up five years ago when having visited Sydney and Melbourne I found them to be absolutely filthy and graffiti strewn.  Friends flew home early rather than stay ion Melbourne!!!

But it seems to be the modern Aussie ideal along with an advert to get tourists to visit that contains swearing!!  A mild word but still enough to put people off.

So sad to see a fine country brought down by filth in the streets, on buildings and in young minds!!!
