The rules in RL were changed to make it more interesting for spectators as the players were payed and needed income from the gate. I have been told that RU is more interesting to play but I'm a 100% league fan

I think rugby union is more interesting, not only to play but also to watch. The hits make all the difference, in play style and in entertainment value. Also, contested scrums are a must.

its a personal opinion like what's your favourite colour.

I love rugby union played at top level but its a shocker when its a bad game at club level.

league to me can be very 2 dimensional, 5 runs kick & it.Cruddy, hopeless scrums etc.Why bother if it cannot be contested?

League at State of Origin level can be superb also.

Individual choice, not a matter of a better game.
