What bike for me?

Question

I am looking to purchase a dirtbike between 04-08 if my funds allow it. I have ridden breifly both a CRF250x and a ttr125 and I am considering the CRF150r or the YZ250f or the CRF250r

I am a new rider I have ridden for probably a total of 15 hours mabey a few more. 6+ hours on the 250 9+ hours on the TTR

I am 15yrs old, 5'10, 160ish lbs

I would recommend a 250f for you.  The yz250f is a good little bike if you stay '05 or newer, you don't want the '04.  KX has a kick *** bike right now, and most places are selling for 6,300 new out the door here in Utah, but if your wallet can't handle it, stay with the Yamaha, and then a Honda.  I prefer the Yamaha over the Honda.

If your planning to ride for awhile,  there is no sense in buying a 150 or anything less than a 250f.  You will  notice you get more comfortable with the bike the more you ride, and will be sorry if you go with a smaller one right now, and try to dump it to buy the one you should have bought now.

You will find that the YZ250F is a monster compared to your TTR, be careful.

im 14 6'1 130lbs     and i ride a kx450f          for you i recommend any 4-stroke dirtbike that is 250cc or below    good luck        (but go with the rmz250 2008   FUEL INJECTION MAN!!!)
