What bindings are better? Lamar or M4?

I would just skip all the little companies of bindings and just go straight to burton as those capstraps are a HUGE advantage. It will improve your riding by alot. but if not burton, im sure that some companies also have capstrap looking things.

Well, Lamar is mostly c**p, and M4 isn't that much greater, but of the two, go with M4. Personally, I'd stay away from both and go with Rome, Union, K2, Ride, or Burton, though I'm not to keen on most Burton binders, I'm not huge on unibody binders as it is, but I've had some problems with the durability of the Burton bindings I've owned. I love my Rome 390's though, and they certainly have the best and most universal toe strap I've ever used, and have a huge amount of adjustability.

I don't know about M4, but Lamar doesn't make the best of anything!

Hm...if your only options are Lamar or M4, go with the M4's.  Although I'd recommend going with Burton, Ride, or maybe Unions instead.

M4 was started from a group of guys formerly from M3.  They got into a lawsuit because M4 is pretty much the same name, just different number.  I'm not sure what happened though.

Drakes!  They're super reliable and quite cheap for the quality.

Of those two choices though I'd vote M4.  But only if it was a "choose or die" situation.

I'd have to say M4. They are definately lighter and are a bit more

boot friendly. What I mean by this is that M4 binders tend to fit with your boot better.  Also it really depends on if your beginner, intermediate, or pro and what kinda terrain you shred.  I would recommend getting M4 if you are more into jibbing and parks

and Lamar if you just like riding all-mountain.
