What bindings do you recommend?

I ride a K2 Illusion Wide, which I just got last year, but I've been using the same bindings for like 3 years now. They weren't good to begin with and now they're terrible. So what do you guys recommend? I want something I can strap into fast but I don't want to sacrifice stability or control for that.

  1. The best bidings that are available for park ride are the Rome 390's.  Their very stable an great for riding.  If your looking at just riding i would say a pair of K2 Cinch's.  These have the heel strap and so u dont have to keep on restraping the front and they're as stable as it gets.

  2. I would recommend Ride bindings. I have their lower end $110 bindings(approx.) and I love them. They work great and are not that expensive. I have been riding them for a year and their pretty fast to strap into. I would highly reccomend getting Ride bindings.

  3. For most riding - especially all-mountain and freeride I always recommend Ride EX bindings - they use really good hardware and all metal buckles that can stand up to hard use. Check out the clearance sales soon - you can get a really good deal, check these for $80:

    Good Luck

  4. It all depends on what your wanting to do.

The Burton Cartels are very good bindings. It has a high response and you can customize it in almost any way. It also has the Cap Strap which is one of the best things out there. It utalizes the binding much more. It also has the High Back which is why it has a high response.

The Burton Mission bindings are also a very good freestyle bindings.

The Flow bindings have that feature of being able to put in your boot from the back. Although this soungs good, the down side is when your on a steep slope, its very hard to get your boot in.

In my opinion, the Burton Cartels are the best.

  5. First off I would go with the Burton Mission they work really well and look tight, second you have to get bigger bindings if you have a bigger foot. Also the bindings only costed me like 100 bucks.

Also if you need boots check out the Burton Hail.

  6. Ok seriously DO NOT GET the Burton Mission bindings. Unless your willing do spend over 220$ dont get Burton Bindings at all!.

I would reccomend any binding from Union Binding Company. They may not look all "tight" and "fancy-schmancy" like Burtons, but they are the most amazing bindings you will ever ride!
