  1. If you are getting a Burton board then you have to stick with Burton bindings due to Burtons Tri-s***w system that they use.  I would suggest getting a high back binding, this will give you more control and it will put less stress on your legs.  But thats just about all you need to know (Burton bindings, Tall back) and you should be good to go!! GOOD LUCK!!

  2. i would strongly suggest burton cartels. i have a pair and they are amazing. they're high backs which are nicely responsive and the toe-cap strap is also a bonus in the nicer burton bindings. they come in some pretty interesting colours. their wintergreen mismatch would keep the blue theme going or you can just get a black pair. their super comfy and they just feel good when your in them all day.

  3. I have to question your qualifications Sir_Maximus.  Anybody who has that much experience should know any binding besides the EST bindings can go on any board.  That includes non-EST bindings on an ICS board.  You just need the correct baseplates that can be obtained from the binding company, just about any boardshop, and maybe Burton if they feel like giving up some of their market monopoly.

If you want to keep it all Burton,  I'd say Cartels.  Stiffer than the Missions and Customs which are geared more towards park.  You'll want to focus a little more on stiffness if you're going to focus on groomers and pow.  However, you can still kill the park with Cartels.

If you're looking outside Burton, Ride Ex's are pretty good.
