its the Mute Swan residing in one area of the Thames but I'm not sure of the area. I think it's from Hampton Court down to Tower Bridge. All other Swans are not protected by her Maj. The Raven isn't protected, but it's thought to be unlucky if it ever leaves the Tower. They think it will fall down! Might be a bit of old superstition here though.
