  1. ummmmmm.....i think it's only parrots.

  2. all parrots, cockatiels, cockatoos, parakeets, mynahs, but i believe parrots are the most talkative, but they are more expensive and harder to take care of

  3. afican greys, amizons, and quakers are some of the best talkers. all parrots can learn to though. some more than others...

  4. we have 2 cockatoos right now who talk very clearly--but they are extremely loud, esp the moluccan ***i would not get one of these unless you can put up with them screaming 24/7, they are very loud and you need to have patience and make sure your neighbors do not mind the noise***

but we had an indian ring neck, 4 cocktails, parakeet,  lovebird, and 4 finches

(we lost all of them in a tornado except for the 2 cockatoos)

every single one of those talked except for the finches

the parakeet and indian ring neck talked the clearest

  5. Parrots and (I think) cockatoos.

  6. all parrots can talk.

if you've never had a bird before than you should get a budgie or a cockatiel.

but if you want it to talk you have to repeat the word for about 5 min in an enthusiastic voice. EVERY DAY in order for it to talk.

  7. parrots the ones with a lot of colors

  8. Most psitacines may develop and repeat sounds that mimic human voice. They certainly cant´t talk, but can mimic sound and human voice, almost "in context".

African Grey's are the most proficient talkers, followed by amazons and macaws. Also some conures can repeat and "speak" some words...

  9. The best talking bird I ever heard was a Mynah. I don't know if you can get them in America, but back home in Hawaii they're all over the place. You can teach them to sound just like a person...
