Question:

What blade curve should I get?

I'm a Center/Wing. I rarely take slap shots, so I need a curve that's best for wristers and snap shots.

I've been using a Modano curve, but I'm not a big fan of it, as I sometimes have trouble roofing the puck with it. I definitely need a blade with more curve. The Smyth curve from Warrior is a huge toe curve, but I don't know if toe curves work well with snap shots.

Any ideas?

  1. If you get Easton, go with Iginla, it's perfect for wristers and snap shots.

  2. I would suggest you take a look at hockey sticks possessing Alex Ovechkin's pattern.  It's your typical "banana curve", with an excessive up-scoop that starts at the heel to help get under the puck.  However, because of this curve, it's not the easiest to get a good back-hander off with it.
