  1. i dont know exactly, but as they grow they develop more energy in bones only...


  2. i think babies are born with MORE bones than adults. the bones then merge together as the baby grows.

    babies tend to have approx 300 bones, and by the time we're adults, we have 206 bones.

  3. Babies have all the bones that adults have at birth. Some of the bones aren't completely fused and this happens in the months after birth. Babies and children also have much softer bones than adults that gradually harden as they grow.

  4. They don't have the "crown" part of their skulls. This is why they have a soft spot(you know...that part on the top of their heads that you aren't supposed to touch).

  5. Believe it or not, but babies are born without knee-caps! They only finish developing around 5 years old.
