What book or series would a 13 year old boy like?

my favourite books i have read have been:

alex rider series

harry potters

i like pretty much anything and am a good reader so i wont get confused or struggle with anything. i was also wondering, are the alex cross books any good, i know they are pretty adult but im good with that, if you could, please give me a little idea about them too!

the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer are great, you would love them probably! Also try Terry Pratchett books, if you don't like the adult ones try the kids' ones like The Wee Free Men, A Hat Full of Sky, Wintersmith and Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents.  :)

Well I am not a 13 year old boy but Harry Potter, the TWILIGHT series by stephenie Meyer

D.J. MacHale's Pendragon series, I believe this is about a teenage boy who is a time traveller ( to places such as King Arthurs time)

The Colour of Magic, Terry Pratchett, (About a boy and his wizard guide)

if you are into adult books perhaps Stephen King..he is fairly easy to read and I read many of his books around 13.

Dean Koontz is another author I have liked since I was in my early teens..he is a suspens thriller author, can also go under horror,science fiction and mystery

check out the ones that go along with Eregon. They are pretty cool. Mon son is really in to the Star Wars book. Like Bloodlines.

my brother loves  the Redwall series by Brian Jacques He's fourteen but started reading them when he was 13.

Also try Tedd Dekker's books, Eregon. Look around a bookstore and just scan.

Try David Eddings' Belgariad series. The series after that is called the Malloreon. Both series are very good. And you could probably pick them up at used bookstores for cheap.
