  1. Selfishly, my autobiography.  Do you blame me?  I've found a home here on your planet.

  2. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, and before I discovered that one, the Harry Potter series.

  3. I've got two for you.

First, I'm going with "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. Given that the book is a fairly lengthy saga, it's a indication of how engaging I found the characters that I would be willing to continue with more. Cal was such an intriguing choice of a hero for me. I would love to know, once he was released with the knowledge that he had the choice on how to live his life, what path he would take.

Secondly, "Silk" by Alessandro Barricco. I know its perfection lies in being a short fable but, goddammit, it's the most musical, sensual thing I've ever read. It rhythm and repetition pulls and sinks you further into the story and, when it ended, I almost felt a physical jolt it was so abrupt.

  4. The Harry Potter series. . . as facebook says, "reading the 7th Harry Potter was like destroying the 7th Horcrux of my childhood". God I'm a nerd! Also the Alice in Wonderland series and Fight Club.

  5. I agree with Harry Potter. It was a sad day when the last one came out :( ...I'll also say "Uglies" by Scott Westerfeld.. he did Extras, but I miss Tally and Zach etc.

  6. Shug by Eva Ibbotson ( i dont know if i spelled that rite)

  7. None.  I can't enjoy books and I envy people who can.

  8. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

It is my all time favorite book, and he is my all time favorite author.

His writing is inspiring and brilliant, and his characters feel like they're right there telling you the story.

  9. Hope by Leslie Pearse - it is such a good story. I felt quite empty when I finished reading this.

  10. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance should have had yearly installments . I felt like I had so much more to learn and hated that I knew the end was closer when I was reading it.

  11. Usually when I read a good book I always feel that way.

  12. The Dark Tower Series... AMAZING, steven king wrote them, there are 7, and they are long and so unlike anything ive ever read, and ALOT of his other works like pet cemetery and such are linked back to it, its very creepy, and i wish it would have never ended, tho the ending was well, very steven king

  13. harry potter &  midnighters series

    and many others

  14. Gone with the wind!!! It's like 800 pages but it was way too short!

  15. These are just a few - I could dredge up many more if I felt like it

    Lord of the Rings

    Pride and Prejudice

Gone With the Wind (I know there's a sequel but I wanted to know if Mitchell brough them together --- arggh!)

    LuthienT

  16. yeah, your right, I could say twilight, and of course harry potter!! but how bout this... The Divide series. there are three. they are for a younger crowd but I really did like them and I'm 22 so... yeah.

  17. twilight...

    its just so awesome...

  18. Hey, don't be mean! Twilight is a good book, and I HAVE read more books, thank you very much. I was going to say twilight or fablehaven or harry potter.
