I am starting 'Tis since I just completed Angela's Ashes and thought it was a great memoir. But after 'Tis, I don't have any books I'm excited about.

I've recently read:

The Revolution A Manifesto By Ron Paul

Trigger Men By Hans Halberstadt

1984 and Animal Farm By Orwell

Splinter Cell Series By David Michaels

Bunch of others....I pretty much like philosophy, economics, politics, war/spy novels, and I'd like to read a great horror novel too (not classic horror like frankenstein).

2.The Tales Of Unexpected - Roald Dahl

3.The Catcher In The Ray - Jerome David Salinger

4.Funny In Farsi , A Memoir of Growing Up - Firoozeh Dumas

5.The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night Time - Mark Haddon

mail me if you need more ...

  3. Right now, I'm reading Duma Key by Stephen King. I think it's one of his best books yet!

  4. If you liked Orwell, you could try Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

If you liked Ron Paul's book, consider Why Government Doesn't Work, by Harry Browne.

  5. For a good horror novel try to find a copy of The Other, by Thomas Tryon.  Excellent.   Salem's Lot, by Stephen King, is great too.

  6. Brave New World or Farenheit 451...they're more totalitarian/government conspiracy book.  You would definately like them since you liked 1984 and Animal Farm.  They are very similar in genre.

Brave New World is about a goverment that scientifically engineers each individual citizen, and attempts to make people as much alike as possible.  Farhenhiet 451 is about a government that has outlawed books and employs people solely to destroy them.
