  1. I suggest goosebumps books by R.L.Stine. Every kid loves them and they build essential reading skills

  2. third and fourth graders should be readin' chapter books but only books that are like 9 or 10 chapters.

  3. if the third or fourth grader likes to read they should challenge themselves with 5th grade books ( i read number the stars)because it will impress their teacher and make a name for themselves as good students. Books by Beverly Cleary will be funny. Especially Romona the Brave. Books by Judy Blume such as Double Fudge are funny too.

  4. superfudge, tales of a fourth grade nothing

  5. There shouldn't be a specific type of book length for a kid to read! A hundred page book could, at times, be more better than a five hundred page book.

It's all about the content, not the length!!!!!

Just make sure he doesn't read a twenty page picture book, but let him choose the books he wants to read; don't force him to read a book that just you will like!

The Harry Potter books, the Edge Chronicles, The Maximum Ride books, are all good series for anyone!

(The Maximum Ride books are my favorite; it's fast paced, hilarious, action packed, and super fun to read!!!)
