I have a very vague description of it, sorry. I seen the black & white video on espn friday night fights a few weeks ago about a fight that took place a long time ago. The two boxers were VERY different in height. It looked like a seven or eight inch height difference. The shorter fighter was more dominant in the fight, and every time the taller would get knocked down, he would tackle the shorter to the ground with him. And thought to who they were?

  1. The fight you are probably referring to is the championship fight in 1934 between champion Primo Carnera 6'5 3/4" 267 lbs vs challenger Max Baer 6"2 209 lbs in which Baer completely dominated the bigger man knocking him down a total of 11 times in a bout that was stopped in the 11th round with Baer the winner by TKO.  Several times during the fight, Baer fell from the force of his own punch or got tangled with the big man and was crawling around on the canvas with him.

  2. Jack Dempsey Vs Jess Willard? Max Baer Vs Primo Carnera? Only two that come to mind.
