I don't know abou tthe other branches, but I know the Army will take you with a GED, but you have to score higher on the ASVAB than a HS graduate.

If you also have 12-15 college credits in the 100 course numbers all of them will take you, they have a specified number of GEDs they will take each year.

you need to score a 50 or better on the asvab to get in with a GED...and then each service has their requirements on top of that.  If you have 15 college credits on top of that GED all branches look at it as a high school diploma for enlistment purposes lowering the minimum you need on the asvab.
