I always see questions in the dogs section about dog food, but I have yet to come across a question about cat food.

This is simply out of curiosity.

What brand of cat food do you feed your cat?

Thank you for answering!

  1. My cat get Iams kitten hard food, she is about to change to the adult formula.

  2. When my newly orphaned kitten is old enough he will be eating either Royal canin kitten or science diet kitten. Maybe even Ceaser millian if he made one for cats. My dog is on his dry and is doing awesome!

I dont feed kitten wet food. adult cats dont get canned living with me. I have heard some things about feeding them canned. I choose not to. How ever, i will be feeding him fish and other items to suppliment his diet.

I would like to feed the raw diet...but i know it is dificult and there is rules to go with it that I need to learn before i try it.

  3. Iams indoors.  It keeps herfur so shiny and I never have issues with hairballs :)

  4. Purina NATURALS - not the grocery store brand, the one that has real meat as the first ingredient and I get wet food (can't think of brand) but also has real meat as first ingredient

  5. We started feeding our cats Science Diet over 12 years ago on the advice of our vet.  If I had known then, what I know now, I would NEVER have started them on Science Diet.  Fast forward to now, we still feed Science Diet Indoor Cat Senior formula.  I have tried to upgrade their food several times but they pick out the Science Diet to eat and leave behind the "good" stuff.  So, I figure, they've been eating it this long, they love it, let them have it.

  6. dry blue spa indoor

    wet, wellness

  7. don't ever feed your cat Iams!

    they animal test.

  8. Any brand that has "Indoor Formula"

  9. I've done lots of research on cat food so I didn't make my decisions lightly!

I'm currently using Wellness and Nature's Variety Instincts.  I'm feeding canned only and I use turkey and venison respectively.  These are the main ones although there are other protein sources and other brands that I will buy on occasion.

I also feed one cat ground meat.  I use chicken turkey and rabbit in rotation.  The other cat is very slowly being transitioned.

So one gets canned Wellness turkey daily, and the other gets the Instincts venison twice per week more or less.

I don't feed dry but I do use it for treats.  For that I chose Nature's Variety Instincts.  I've used the chicken meal and am currently using rabbit.

  10. Innova - dry

    Natural Balance - wet

  11. I feed her purina dry food

  12. Natural balance with an occasional 1/2 can of Iams wet.  Stray/ferals at the outdoor feeder get treated to "Maintenance" by "Diamond Pet Foods."

  13. whiskas and purina healthful life

  14. They love Chicken Soup For The Cat Lovers Soul Light dry food. Since my female just had five kittens I have been feeding them Whiskas Purrfectly Chicken pouches a couple of times a day along with the dry food and she gets a bowl of Whiskas CatMilk when she's hungry. It sounds like they get fed a lot, but she really doesn't eat a lot. My male usually picks up where she left off though lol.

  15. I only use wellness, it's all natural no fillers, no horrible corn and my cats absolutely love it

  16. Nutro Max, and merrick wet food.

  17. 9-lives

    urinary tract formula

have a 15 year old cat, so it seems to be pretty good food
