  1. Titleist is definatly the most popular (and my choice of ball) but out of those ones you mentioned i'd say the Nike ,then TaylorMade, then precept then topflite then wilson.

    That's my opinion anyway.

    Good luck with the golf!

  2. Callaway i'd say followed by taylormade and then Titleist

  3. Titleist.

  4. Titleist are far by the most used golf ball. I prefer to use Titleist myself.

    Nike are also pretty popular.

There are alot of golf balls out there so you just need to try them out.

I never use Topflite, but for all I know there might be a certain type of topflite that would work for me.

From the list of brands you have said, and going from the fact nobody can actually say that one golf brand is better than another (only from opinion) I would say that it would be like this:

    Titleist

    Nike

    TaylorMade

    Wilson

    Topflite / Precept

  5. It really depends on what you are looking for out of a ball. The titleist proV1 is probably the best ball for the lower handicap player, but for someone that has  a higher handicap and needs a little more distance and probably a 2-piece ball. If you are looking for an affordable ball that has a soft cover and doesn't lack distance, there is a ball made by nike that sells for about $15/dozen. I can't remember the name of it, but it is in a green box.

  6. titilist has a more softer feel when compared to other balls but callaway balls (hx tour) put more spin on the ball but still allow alot of roll throughout the fairway.  if short game is your problem i suggest using titilist pro-v balls but if you want  longer drives and your more advanced with the greens go with callaway hx tour balls

*but overall a good golfer should be able to play with any ball and shoot in the 70's ;)

  7. Nike is my favorite by far.  The One Platinum is the best ball on the planet.  If you don't want to spend that kind of money then there are other options that Nike makes.  The Karma has a soft cover.  A had an eagle on a par 4 where I drove the green using that ball.  A hit a high cut with driver and it landed soft like an iron with in a foot of the hole.  In fact that was the second eagle I had on that hole that round(9 hole course; played 18 holes).

  8. None of the above. Titleist generally makes better golf balls. Especially the premium Pro V1 and Pro V1x. They perform superbly. Low spin with a driver for distance and, at the same time, high spin with a wedge for stopping on the greens. They are also durable.

If you find Titleist balls expensive, try Pinnacle. Pinnacle balls are manufactured by the same company that makes Titleist balls. The company is Acushnet.

Among your listed options, I would say Nike with its One Platinum and One Black.

  9. I'd say that new titleist FREAK

  10. IF you believe the hype, they say Titleist is the number 1 ball on tour. That doesn't necessarily make it the best though. Also, if you believe more hype, the Nike one and Nike sumo are "the winningest ball/driver combination on tour".

Top-flites are coming up in the world. They used to be really good then fell off but are now coming back with "players" balls --- not great, but not the worst ball.

If you want a ball that is going to work well for you, i suggest going to get "fitted" for a ball. That entails getting on a launch monitor and finding out your numbers. This will help you decide what type of ball is right for you. After that, it's a game of feel. Choose the ball that works for you that feels right.

Remember, when it comes down to it the name on the ball doesn't matter -- it's how many strokes it takes you to get it in the hole.

  11. titilist no doubt

if you are a lady i would recomend titilist lady's or slazenger

  12. None of those.  I would say Titlist.
