  1. Huggies is the only brand I use. I like the natural fit but I have used snug and dry. I also like their wipes - especially the container (or at least the white sensitive container) has a nice plastic piece that grips the next wipe so it does not drop down like the pampers container.

You may want to check http://www.diapers.com/ they have free delivery for orders over $49... which you can spend pretty easy with diapers and wipes. They carry diapers, wipes, formula and a bunch of other stuff.

  2. i use similac sensitive formula and pampers baby dry or swaddlers diapers for olivia.....huggies wipes or pampers wipes are both great.

we had a bad experience with parents choice formula from wal mart, but dont let this stop you from trying.....

  3. I'm not sure on formula, I breastfeed. My favorite diapers are Pampers after trying pampers, huggies, and target brand. My favorite wipes are Huggies Calming Touch(lavender). My friend only uses Target brand diapers and says they work great and are usually the cheapest.

  4. I can only say what I preferred but who knows if it was the "best".  I always bought national brands but for no particular reason. I have a friend that buys store brands and she is really happy with the money it is saving her.

I used Pampers Swaddlers for the first few months. Really soft diapers and was great on my newborn. I then switched to Huggies just because they seemed to leak less.

I use Pampers Sensitive Wipes because my son has eczema.  They are really gentle wipes.

I use Enfamil Gentlease Formula.  I have heard that store brand formula does not go over well with babies that have allergies, etc.

I use Dr. Brown's bottles because he spit up a lot and had tummy troubles.  The bottles were great. I did try a lot of the other brands and nothing worked like Dr. Brown's.  The bottles come in glass too if you are worried about the plastic.

Have fun shopping!! I love Target too!

  5. I used Similac advance powder with my son- until I found out the Kirkland brand at Costco was the IDENTICAL product ingredient for ingredient and way cheaper (two cans for the price of one of the similac).   I would be VERY careful of soy anything with a baby. there have been studies done not long ago that have found soy is NOT healthy for babies or children like they thought is was at one time. The link is below.  If you're child has a lactose intolerance you can always find lactose free formulas.

Huggies diapers are the only ones I found that never leaked or had a problem.  I refuse to buy store brand diapers becuase I know people that do (family and friends) and they are always leaking and saggy even when barely dirty.

Wipes, personally I prefer Huggies, they are thicker and don't break my son out in a rash.

  6. huggies are the best out there. The fit nicely and hold tons without leaks. I find that generic brands are fine for the day time when you change them often but once your baby starts sleeping through the night they don't hold up, especially the wal-mart brand ones. For wipes, I just use the generic brand ones because they get the job done. For formula I find good start to be the best. My daughter was on a special preemie formula made by similac and it made her constipated, once she switched to regular formula we tried enfamil but I found she spit up alot and the formula stained everything VERY badly because it was more of a yellow color. On goodstart she barley spits up and if she does it does not stain and she isn't constipated.

  7. Hmmm.. well i use pampers diapers and wipes. they work the best for me. i dont like huggies at all. they are very bulky. huggies wipes are good too. i just dont like the diapers so i tend to stick with the pampers brand... PLUS... their cheaper.

My son is on Soy formula. It is called Alsoy. This is... in my opinion the best. Milk based forula is basically boiled fat, and not good for your baby. i definatly prefer soy to milk based. My son isnt as grumpy since he has been on soy as well.

Good luck with the birth!! and congrats!!

  8. Luvs hands down they are less expensive and don't have as much perfume in them as other brands. Some of the other brands broke my babys bottom out. Store brands are a waste of money in my opinion.

  9. I like pampers, they are softer and fit better than huggies, and the wipes are very soft.  The tabs sometimes pull off on the huggies diapers too.

There is no best brand of formula, they are all just inadequate replacements for breast milk, which is the best. Any type you use is gonna be the same artificial c**p, so save money and get the store brand. Or save more and breastfeed.
