What brand of St. John's wort is the best - Blackmore's, Herron, or Nature's Own?

I want to buy some to help my mood, and Herron is about half the cost of the other two. I want to get it because it's cheaper, but if it doesn't work as well I don't want it.

Also, what does this mean?

Active Ingredients Per Tablet

Hypericum perforatum (St John's Wort) extract

equivalent to dry flowering herb top

(standardised to contain hypericin

derivatives 990 mcg) 1.8g (1800mg)

Both Herron and Blackmore's have this on them - what's a hypericin derivative?

It's the active part of the tablet. Just buy whichever's cheapest if they have the same amount per tablet, you'll be fine.
