What brand of camcorder?

Which brand pf camcorders has the best quality and best performance? Also, it is for a beginner and the quality needs to be clear and do well in low lighting. Since I am a beginner, I don't need fabulous features because I am on a bit of a budget. All I need is for it to have good video quality and good quality in low lighting. Thats about it. Can you also recommend a model?
