Is there a brand that is (even just a little bit) less harmful? I've heard American Spirit have less additives but more tar.

Please, don't turn this into a lecture about how all cigarettes are bad for you. I know. Anything you say about that will not make me change my mind. Don't waste your time writing anything unless it's actually answering my question.

  1. Ive heard the same thing about American Spirit. I would go to a tobacco store and ask the people that work there. They "should" know about their products. If all else fails, google the brands you have heard of and read up.

  2. None. :)

  3. Kreteks. 60% Tobacco, 40% Cloves. Additional benefits and negatives to clove cigarette smoking are as follows:

Eugenol (the active component of cloves) significantly inhibited tobacco-induced carcinogenicity. Eugenol and the plant extracts also inhibited the nitrosation of methylurea in a dose-dependent manner. (the more you take, the better)

Conversely, clove cigarettes have been known to cause lung problems in people who have a respiratory infection (don't smoke when you're sick or coughing up stuff).

Plus, they smell like incense ;-)

  4. American Spirit is 100% additive free with Naturaly grown whole leaf tabacco.
