  1. Pessoa A/O Saddle

    Dover’s Circuit Pro Saddle

Well, you are very concerned about weight loss, diet pills and lead changes etc. So I would recommend one that your parents would buy, that will fit your changing body and skill levels. The Pessoa has wide panels for weight distribution on your horses back.

The circuit pro has a test-ride offer with good leather and looks.

Try before you buy a saddle, Dover's has a nice program.

If your very serious about riding, buy the best that will suit you:with good care, resale is always a possibility, like with with Passier or Stubben. Fittings will need to fit as well, children's' leathers and peacock stirrups or side -out stirrups  are a win.

  2. Well, I'm 5'5 and have long legs and ride in a 16 1/2 Kincade. The saddle is great, it's fit every horse I've ridden.

You would probably need a 14 to 15, but I'm not positive.

There are stores you can go to, to try out saddles and see if they fit.

As far as brand goes, it depends on what your price range is.

  3. You would probably fit in a child's saddle or one with a short flap. You can even have one modified by a good saddler if need be. The only way to find what you like best is to try out several brands. You can usually do this at any reputable tack shop.

You also need to consider how the saddle fits your horse. This is more important because poor saddle fit can cause all sort of problems to your horse's back.
