  1. well since no one answered your question, ill answer it:

I suggest a yamaha ttr125 l because its a awesome trail bike, easy to maintain and wont break on you know matter how much you beat on it

if thats to small try a yamaha wr 250f, great bike, but your goinna have to maintain it a bit more then the ttr 125l. the wr 250 will run you about 7500$ where as the ttr 125l is around 4000$

Take your son or daughter down to a yamaha dealer ship and let em sit on a bike , so you can see how he fits it

    I hoped i helped :/

  2. dont get a 4stroke they are too expensive and if moneyisnt an issue go 4 it but id say get a quad bikes are boring..

a quad you can beat the **** out of it and it wont hurt you..

you have to respect bikes it can fall from between ur legs at any moment and send you to the ground.

quads may be slower but if you buy a cheap quad like a yamaha blaster you can buy a 240 kit for as low as 250$ and make it beat most of ur friends dirtbikes

  3. dont get a atv.........thats only when you get used to a dirt bike to get a atv so many people die on them and they can flip easy speed isnt the key for a beginner, A 4-stroke is a good beginner bike like a honda crf150r if your tall go for the expert crf150r.

  4. If your loking for the basic dirt bike for a biginer about 13-16 i would go four possibly a   crf 230 HONDA.

  5. any brand will be good i would go for a yamaha 4 stroke like a ttr125 or some thing in that area but other then that get one of the top names in motocross/supercross

  6. Okay.

    To "tom s"

I have been riding for about 4 years now.

    And shows how much you know;

Quads are more dangerous than Dirtbikes.

Do you even know how much quads weigh?

    They can crush you.

Dirtbikes dont take much to get off you.

but quads you cant lift them off of you by yourself.

    Anyway.

    back to the question.

    A kawasaki.

Why dont you people include how tall you are?

    thats alot of help.

  7. personnaly, i love love love love love honda. it rides easy and everything about it is great. right now i have a yamaha and its a nice bike but there is something about it that isnt as... staisfying as a honda. but, to me you have to sit on the bike and c wat suits you. if possible even try a test run. it all depends on what you think really. i started on a crf80 honda but i am older now and the bike is small on me of couse. im 13 now and i ride a 110  but as i said before. whatever suits you best....

  8. a honda crf 150f they are good bikes

  9. a four stroke of course. like a crf100 or 230 depending on how tall you are.

  10. dont matter what brand just start with a 4 stroke it is easier

  11. any brand will suit you just fine, just do not buy one of those cheap korean or chinese bikes.....

  12. any brand will do just fine but i wouldn't start out on a racing 2 stroke. i would go more for a trail bike like a kawasaki klx bike.

  13. Whatever you do don't get a 125, they're just a big 80. They are very easy to seize the engine.
