What brand of guinea pig food is the best? My piggies don't like nutriphase gold. What are the good brands?

Oxbow and Kleenmama.

Most others, nutriphase gold included, are pretty much garbage. Look at the ingredients - you'll want a plain pellet (no seeds, fruit, or colored crunchies) with timothy hay as the first ingredient. Avoid lots of added sugars and preservatives, and definitely stay away from pellets that have animal fat - believe it or not, some do.

Nutriphase Gold has a lot of those extra things in it.  I give my piggies the plain nutriphase and they love it.  Also it has Vitamin C added.  Also, make sure that you are giving them an unlimited amount of Timothy Hay daily.  Only give fruits and/or veggies two to three times a week.  Never give lettuce because it is mostly water and will give them diarrhea.  Pellets are the most important part of your piggies diet so you don't want to fill them up on other stuff.

Nutriphase actually is a good brand but if they don't like it well maybe they are getting to many treats?

I hope you are not feeding them junk food.

Timothy Hay,veggies and pellets,that's all ,no alfalfa.

Nutriphase is made by Petsmart. It's pretty bad feed.

Never feed pellets with seeds, nuts or colored bits. They are like junk food. They sell it because it looks more colorful and they can slap 'special' on it so you'd buy it.
