They require the non-skid type (floors being slippery). Just wondering since I'll start my training there tomorrow.

  1. walmart has a special shoe that is guaranteed to be slip proof.  they aren't with the other shoes, but an employee can show you where they are.  i was a waitress for umpteen years and now work with the elderly and mine have lasted four years and counting and they are still completely slip proof, even on icy surfaces.  they cost 24.95.  another option that is offered at lots of restaurants is called "shoes for crews."  ask your employer if they participate in that.  the good thing about that is you can order the shoes and the price is deducted from your paycheck in a few installments.  good luck in your new job.

  2. CROCS!!!!!!!!!! they are super comfy, so cute, they come in all the colors of the rainbow,AND you can put little plastic pins to make them even more attractive! I have 9 pairs, how many do you have? Have fun!

  3. If you go to Payless they have the right shoes in different styles. They also are very cheap only $20 - $30!!

  4. Shoes for Crews is the best non slip brand in my opinion

  5. At walmart they have some that are 100% skid proof. And they're so much cheaper than any brand.

  6. It would be best to ask your employer what he/ she recommends. After all, it is his/ her approval in the end, right? Get something inexpensive but, comfortable.

  7. any good tennishoe   .. but any shoe can slip on a real slippery surface

return them if they dont work for you and try another pair.

  8. sketchers.

  9. Dickies

  10. Keds are perfect for work

They are cute and you can get different colors

  11. Try Sketchers or you can probably wear Crocs too ;-)
