  1. Mikey's...

This made me chuckle....only because I have a ton of putters, but I've used the same putter since 1996.

I have a beat up old Ping Anser with a nice dark brown patina...it's bent 4 degrees flat and it is covered with lead tape.....but that's my baby....can't seem to get rid of her.

I have an identical Anser 2 that's brand new...same specs, 4 flat, 33.5", same grip....but it just doesn't feel the same....so I keep using the old Anser.

I have probably 15 other putters, mostly Anser's or Anser clones made by other companies. I have some other Ping's too, I used to collect them, but I gave up one day and traded a bunch in on some other clubs.

I have an old Zing2 with a stamp on the bottom that says "Ping Ohio Open - Tam O'Shanter CC"

    I have a Pal 4 with a bent shaft.

I have a Tad Moore milled putter that's so beautiful I had to buy it....trouble is, I can't put with it to save my life!

I have a Fat Lady Swings from Bobby Grace....back when Nick Price was using it I bought one....can't putt with that either.

I have a couple Zebra's .... used those for a while.... can't putt with a mallet anymore for some reason....

I have an old Kirk Currie Precept putter that's bore thru design....it's nice....can't putt with it.

Anyway, I have a bunch of putters, I have my old staff bag sitting in my basement chock full of just putters!! My wife yells at me because there's spider webs and it's dusty....but you just never know when you'll need to pull one of those old wands out and give it a try!!!

    Good Question!

  2. I have a Ping as well, its got a soft feel to it which I really like in a putter. I also have an Odyssey that I got for x-mas a few years back, but its too big and bulky for my liking.

  3. 40 plus  go to flea markets etc . use  amazing grace by cobra come to think of it has to be fifty plus . lot of older ones  stuck on wall . still cannot understand why people spend 600 dollars on a driver to hit the ball deeper into the rough , when the can purcase a custom fit putter for less than 200 dollars . or for 5 dollars have there putter adjusted for custom fit . too old to understand

  4. i have a taylor made that i don't really like. I have 3 putters lost 1 though. I might keep with the putter i have but i would prefer to get a different putter

  5. I have a PING Craz-E (center shafted) and a PING Anser-F.

  6. I either use a Ping G5i or a Bettinardi BB1-H.  I probably have 75 - 100 putters in my garage : )

  7. I use a Scotty Cameron Newport most of the time.  I have three others, a Zebra mallet, and two antiques (a Spaulding and Ben Sayers) from the early sixties.  If I start to putt poorly I use one of the old ones for awhile which allow no room for error, then when you go back to a modern one everything starts going in.

  8. I have a Ping classic anser. I am thinking of upgrading to the i-series anser.

  9. A Ping B60 in my bag for 17 years now and a B60i for my putting green at home

  10. I have a scotty cameron red X they are sweet and I putt very well with it...I have had it for about 3 years and I haven't had any problems with it.

  11. I play an Odyssey DFX 3300, a blade style with no goose neck at all, 34", bent a few degrees flat. I love that style, inspires a lot of confidence for me. The first time I brought it out on the course, first hole, I sank a 30 footer from the fringe for par. I haven't thought seriously about another putter since.

Almost bought a Tour Edge Code Red a year or so ago. I still think I might get one if I find one around, felt pretty nice.

I do still have my first putter too. AccuPLUS, from K-Mart. It's still got the bend in the shaft from the abuse it took while I was learning the game. But, it's the first putter I ever had confidence in.

  12. I currently use a Kirk Currie putter, blows the door off of anything else I've owned or used.

I have about 6 other putters lying about.

  13. I have three putters. The very old Bullseye putter, the original 2 ball from odyssey and the dfx 2 ball from odyssey. I could use a laser putter and it wouldnt work. I need work on the greens. The only thing that keeps me from being a scratch (currently a 2 hdcp) is my f'n putter.

  14. I have 3 putters, all are Pings ;

    - I have a Ping Anser with the 85020 zip code in the cavity. It  has been reconditioned and shines like a bar of gold. I have stopped using that particular putter.

    - I have a Ping Anser "Dalehead" with the 85029 zip code in the cavity. This is the putter I use most of the time when golfing or practicing. It is in excellent condition for a putter made in the late 60's.

    - I have a Ping 1A with the 85068 zip code on it. This is the putter that makes the famous "PP-II-NN-GG" sound when the ball is putted. I use this putter frequently. To most of my playing partners, this putter is their favorite putter because of the ping sound.

  15. I have 3 putters, but the one i use most is my Alien: Tutch mallet. I love it. I had it cut down to 32" and weighted it with lead tape to my own specs.

The other 2 are a very old heel shafted "pro only" putter. and the other is an offset "Knight" with a copper face insert.

  16. Taylor Made Tpi-24.    My other putter is a bronze blade from way back.
