  1. theres not really any way to tell without pictures

  2. did you look under the flap where the leathers go for any markings or on the flap that covers the billets?  does it look like there was a plate there at one time?  If not, it is probably one that was made in India..what is the leather like? Stiff or soft?  How much did you pay for it?  With fittings or saddle only.  Is it a dressage or all purpose?

Without "some" information other than color and shape of the back, and especially without a picture, you need to provide more info. and even with that..an ID would be hard.

Did you ask the person that sold it to you...and if it mattered, why would you buy one without that information?

looks to be in pretty good shape!!  here are a couple of site that deal in used saddles, take a look and see if you see anything similar, but that is no guarantee.  Check everything maybe a portion of the logo or name is there but worn away..

    http://www.bcsaddlery.com/esadua.htm

    http://www.saddlesource.com/usedsaddles....

the 2nd one has a TON of saddles.

One more place to check is on the silver buttons..are they smooth or have an initial..maybe?

Or maybe the person you bought it from could check with previous owner

  3. If you have the saddle I would look up the serial number at a tack store and they should be able to tell you the maker

  4. Gosh, it really could be anything.

There are literally hundreds of saddle makers out there.

Sorry, but without pictures, it would be impossible to say.
