What brand of saddle should I buy that would be good quality for the money, lookin for close contact, dressag?

I am looking for a close contact saddle to buy, and also a dressage saddle. I need a 17 1/2 seat, but I would have to try it to make sure it fit, But I live in Michigan. I also have a dressage saddle that is brand new, but it doesnt fit any of my horses so I am selling it for 700$. Or if any body has any saddle brands they love that would be worth the investment please tell me, Thanks

I absolutely LOVE my Crosby XL close contact hunt seat saddle.  It's so comfy and so smooth.  There's a lot of padding to make the seat comfortable and the air padded flaps are wonderful.  And I got such a bargain on it... it has a little hole in it, so a $1500 saddle I got used with a hole for $300!  Wowzers!

Pessoas are also really nice.  I was actually looking for a Pessoa when I ended up with my Crosby.  They have a lot of different styles of saddles depending on how much and what type of jumping you do... if at all.

Collegiate makes a decent saddle too.  They're well made and comfotable and best of all, they're affordable!

A lot of people like the Wintec saddles and I most certainly do not.  I suppose they're comfortable, but they're way too slippery and they look ugly too.

I know nothing about dressage saddles, so good luck with that.

Search ebay for great deals on slightly used saddles like your own.  That's where I got my saddle.  Also look on equine.com and dreamhorse.com and websites like those.

Buy the best , Your a big girl if you need a 171/2 there are tons for sale that size

you don't want a close contact when you ride dressage you want a 3 day saddle combination

where you live there are many

But as big as you are make sure its fits right

because that big of a saddle better be a good one with that much weight on it . and on the horse CROSBY, PASSIER.
