  1. Neversummer

  2. If you don't want a Burton, look at the k2 World Wide Weapon (WWW), or any Rome board (probably the Artifact).  These are the boards I've heard the most about.  Everybody who uses the WWW loves it, and Rome's boards are pretty much dedicated to parks.  I personally would go with the WWW.  I've never heard a single bad review about it from somebody who's ridden one.

  3. There is no brand of snowboard that stands out as the best. There are many good brands currently and you need to look more at the model of the board rather than who its made by.

If you are percifically into rail riding you should look into geting a jib board these boards are really easy and fun to ride and are great for rails, jumps, spinning, riding switch and buttering. some good jib boards worth looking at are

    Rome Artifact

    Apo Selecta

    K2 WWW

    Ride Kink

    Burton Dominant

    Signal Park

    Bataleon Evil Twin

    Capita Stairmaster

These boards are all flexable so wont be the best at really high speeds. If you are looking for more of an All Mountain Freestyle board that will be stiffer and better for backcountry freestyle, large kickers and pipe riding check these out

    K2 Zeppelin

    K2 Darkstar

    Rome Agent

    Rome Graft

    Ride DH

    Atomic Axium

    Forum Destroyer

    Burton Unic

    Option Redline

Im not sure what your level of riding is but all jib boards are easy to ride so you will be fine with any of those. The All mountain freestyle boards ive listed may not suit you as some are more for an advanced riders, so if you are thinking of going for that kind of board make sure you get one that is the right level for you.

Also the comment above about ski companys not making good boards is rubbish. The guy who said that probably wont buy a board unless that companys team riders wear the right kev clothes and have the right image and c**p like that. Unfortunately theres alot of snobbery and narrowmindedness in snowboarding which is best to ignore. Try and demo some boards if you can so you cant see for yourself what board is best for you, Good Luck.

  4. Burton or Ride snowboards

  5. burton or ride Both are awesome. Atomic makes some nice ones too.

  6. burtons are the best, hands down. if you cant get a burton though, ride snowboards are pretty good

  7. General rule of thumb... Don't buy a snowboard from people who make ski's...they think they might know riding but no...mostly not.  Ride or Rome are probably the best as far as park and more specific applications.  Burton rocks because they have great Reasearch and Develpment and tons of time behind the boards they make.  Plus they are a really cool company that believes in supporting smaller company's contrary to popular belief...Jake Burton bought a group of smaller companies three years ago so they could stay in the business and let them keep their name...plus he has so much positive going for the snowboard community...great boards, great company.   I ride two Ride boards but have ridden tons of other brands...  Ride, Burton, Rome are my top picks....  Enjoy the Ride :)

  8. Ride and Burton are known for their great All Mountain boards.

For freestyle, the best brands are probably are Rome, Forum, Gnu, K2, and Lib Tech.

    Good Luck
