What brand of tankless hot water would you recommend?

NORITZ, TAGAKI or RANNIA, BOSCH, in that order.

Takagi is probably one of the best, they have been making tankless models for 50 years, though they are fairly new in America.   Rinnai is also a good brand, though they are fairly expensive.   In my experience, you can't go wrong with either of these, just make sure you get a model that has enough capacity for your whole house.
