I have some family that are Russian, and they love Pepper Vodka, but its a type not a brand, so what is a name? They won't tell me because...idk. I have only asked my uncle(actually hes my great uncle). and he wont tell me. I know there is Smirnoff, and others, there is flavored vodkas, and more, but I haven't found a brand that is pepper vodka. Help please?

Thanks in advance,

Anony

  1. absolut peppar

  2. The original brand is "Stolichnaya" The full name of this product is "Stolichnaya® pepper vodka" or "Stoli® Pertsovka" vodka.

  3. All the previous answers are correct and i personally love Pepper Vodka but I make it myself (this might impress your relatives).  Just purchase a good 750 ml bottle of Russian vodka and place 2 tablespoons of cracked peppercorns in the bottle.  Leave in cool dark place for a week and shake every few days.  When a week's past strain with cheese cloth into another vessel then just use a kitchen funnel and pour it back into its original bottle (though you don't have to do this it just looks nicer).

  4. There are quite a few Russian Vodkas that are infused with pepper and not considered a special flavored vodka like Absolute Pepper would be

    here are some examples:

    Quadro Premium Russian Vodka 750ML-

The first nosing passes detect an intriguing ashy/charcoal quality; aeration stimulates scents of kernel, dry grain and a touch of white pepper.

Pertsovka (Pepper) Vodka - Russian Vodka

50cl / 35% - Russian vodka flavoured with hot red peppers. Likely to put a bite into a Bloody Mary.

Slavianskaya Traditional Russian Vodka - The traditional pepper vodka

Jewel of Russia Ultra Vodka 1L- Limited edition Russian Vodka has unbelievable smoothness and beautiful finesse ... with nuances of white pepper, wheat crackers and cigarette tobacco. (more expensive)

you can alway get Absolute Peppar but it's not as traditional and flavorful as the Russian ones.

    hope this helps

  5. Try looking for NEMIROFF (that's the brand name), it's from the Ukraine and they have a full range of flavoured vodkas, including honey pepper.

(Their regular "Ukranian wheat" is also very good, I find it superior to Ketel One)

This brand is usually only available in Russian-owned shops and delis though.
