  1. The best old school boards are Bulldog Skateboards, designed by the OG dogtown Wes Humpston. You want a minimum 8 inch wide board, jay adams grind king trucks, rainskate 62mm stinger or yellow jacket wheels, rocket ron bearings. That board will fly in a pool and still bert slide on a bank.

For bombing hills you want a longboard and softer wheels. If you want to bomb hills like they do on skatehorde.com , you want downhill board like a landyachtz evo. Drop through which makes it stable at speed and foot braking. Trucks, randal II with flipped hangers or grizzly bear trucks. Wheels are abec11 green big zigs. If you want to carve hills like adam at loaded longboards, then the loaded dervish board is best. You can drop mount paris trucks, with abec11 zig zag or big zig wheels. Green to go fast and still pump or soft and cruisie choose pink big zigs. A dervish set up like that will carve like a dream and be stable to speeds of 35mph or 60kph.
