  1. I like cranberry and vodka. Absolut is good. Also the smirenoff is good. Grey goose is too expensive for parties.

  2. For mixed drinks, any will do since you're adding juices or other flavors to the vodka.

There have been blind tastings with top shelf vodkas and cheap vodkas.  Most people can't tell the difference.  It's more of a status symbol when people order Grey Goose cocktail.

If you make friends with a bartender... Ask how they laugh (with their bartender friends) at people ordering Top Shelf vodka cocktails.

  3. Pyatizvyozdnaya, Russian brand. Has honey in it.

  4. bacardi and tropical punch is pretty bomb

  5. ketel one is all i drink, its unbelievable.

  6. absolut and smirnoff are the best for mixing.

  7. if your gonna mix it, it really doesnt matter cause vodka taste all the same once mixed, just go with something cheap like absolute or stoli. If you want something expensive like grey goose, try Ketel 1.

  8. RU Vodka is good. Thats what we make mixed drinks with. Its affordable, too. I think its fairly new. A cashier at the liquor store recommended it to my husband.

  9. Grey Goose is not good for mixed drinks.  Using it for mixed drinks is a complete waste of money.

    Buy Smirnoff or similar.

  10. Buy a bottle of grey goose

    chug it/use it up

    save bottle

    refill with Gordons or Smirnoff

chances are no one will be the wiser

maybe even keep a small 375ml of grey goose in the freezer for anyone that wants it straight

Grey Goose is too good for mixed drinks.  Smirnoff or Gordons would be just fine.

  11. grey goose is too expensive for mixed drinks, more for martinis, smirnoff is better priced for mixers...

  12. Grey Goose is too expensive a vodka to be using  for mixed drinks. Get the cheaper brands for the mixes and serve Grey Goose for the serious vodka drinkers.  Popov, store brands, and shelf vodkas are good enough to use with mixers and believe me when I say, they will not know the difference.

  13. absolut

  14. How much do you wanna spend? What are you mixing with? If you're going to use a strong flavored mixer, you can use cheaper vodka since you won't notice, such as Smirnoff or Stoli.  If you're making vodka martini's however I'd suggest a smoother vodka such as Kettle 1, Belvedere, or my personal favorite Stoli Elit, but bring your wallet.  Or else like already suggested Absolut is a good medium, for screwdrivers or bloody mary's

  15. Skyy vodka...perfect for mixed drinks, its all I use

  16. If you're mixing, don't use top shelf stuff.  As soon as you mix any carbonated or fruit juices to the vodka, no one can tell the difference.  For mixers stick to Smirnoff or similar.

  17. Stoli and Absolut are pretty smooth.. what I also like is Pinnacle... it's very affordable but the quality is good!  No bad hangovers :)
