I think MAC eyeshadow stays on a long time.  I can wear it all day without it coming off.  Also Avon makeup does.  Victoria Secrets eyeshadow also is very good.  If you apply your foundation to your eyelids before you apply eyeshadow it almost works like a primer and holds the eyeshadow on your lids.

MAC and Stila are fantastic! They stay on forever and they have great colors. I would not recommend Lancome and Clinique or any drug store brands especially Wet Seal. Good luck finding you perfect eyeshadow.

personally i'm a mac girl and i find my shadows stay on all day/night. however i use primers as well. i.e. paint pots, paints and urban decay primer potion
