I heard you can tell a breed of guinea-pig by looking at its fur or body ?

I think these could be half-breeds but I don't know

Bunches - he's not fat, he's just puffed himself up

  1. They are gorgeous!!

I think you are correct in saying that they are half breeds, i think they have a little Dutch in them.

    I love guinea pigs.

  2. They are all domestic short/smooth haired

    Bunches is red and white.

    Nibbles is a tri colour.

Babies are black and white/tri colour and golden agouti and white, their markings are kind of mis-marked dutch.

They are all lovely, pretty piggies, especially Bunches!!

  3. they look like american and torties (tortoiseshells)

  4. i think they are smoothcoated.

Try this website for pictures of other breeds to compare them: www.cutecavies.co.uk

    You might have crossbreeds too.

  5. They all look American, to me.

  6. Bunches looks like he is a Bi-Colour in Golden and White

Nibbles looks like she was a Tortoiseshell and White along with the baby on the 3rd photo on her right handside.

The baby on her left looks like it is Golden Agouti and White.
