  1. I love most breeds of horse and pony but my all time favorite is the Welsh Cob!! They are the picture of power and courage. I own a buckskin cob gelding and he shows off his attitude and movement to perfection in the ring, he's that flashy people think he's a stallion.  He's an allround horse, easy to do anything with, goes under saddle or in harness, has a magical temperament, and loves to please.  I have found this to be an all round attribute of the welsh cob, they're not described as the best allround ride and drive animal in the world for nothing!

  2. I have soooooo many fav horse breeds its not funny. Here are SOME of themand why: -Arabian-beautiful and gentle-Paint-always dif colors-Mangalarga Marchador-BEAUTIFUL!!-Morgan-gentle beauties-Fresian-gorgeous and gentle-Tennesee Walking Horse-tall and long(like me)

And last but DEFINATELY not least, Quarter Horse-perfect for everything and very pretty.

  3. quarter horse arabian mix. i have one. he is calm (most of the time.) and he is rlly frendly and he doesnt rlly give me much attitude.

  4. i luv any kind of horse breeds... arabian-welsh cross? those r beautiful... also the australian riding horse... they're beautiful & graceful, great 4 riding... but my fav. is a welsh PONY... they're great w/ kids & they have a wonderful thing about 'em... i can't really explain... it's a craze!!

  5. My personal favorite is a Connemara/Thoroughbred cross.  You get more height and speed with the Thoroughbred, but the calmness and personality of the Connemara.  I have a four year old, and she is just an absolute joy to work with.  She has tremendous movement, and unlimited potential for either dressage or jumping.  We are hoping to make her an eventer, and I think she will rock at it. She listens very well, and is a very fast learner.  And of course, she is beautiful!!!  Also with the cross, you get nicer feet and larger bones from the Connemara.  They are just a really amazing all around horse!

  6. thoroughbreds!!

at least the ones that aren't raced tons.

they're just beautiful, athletic, tall, lean, sporty, versatile, and have good temperaments if they're raised right.

and they can be competed in jumping, dressage, hunting, eventing, trail, almost anything

and even though they have a reputation of being unhardy, I keep mine at paddock year round and he does fine and they can be really good doers.

they're just the allround perfect horse

  7. Quarter horse. QHs are smooth and typically very safe and sane. They come in a variety of sizes, from thin and TB-like to stocky and draft-like and 14.3 to 17.3. QHs are beautiful, smooth, and VERSATILE! What other breed is perfectly built for jumping, dressage, eventing, barrel racing, roping, English pleasure, and Western pleasure...all in one individual horse?! Prices vary from free to thousands. QHs are currently flooding the market...making them cheap as ever!!! And that's what makes the AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE the most awsomest breed ever! Here's a QH jumping: http://www.flyingchangesridingschool.com...

  8. I love Mustangs :)

They are so healthy! My boy's hooves are rock hard and he will never need shoes unless he starts jumping(but he moves like a western horse anyway). I can ride him on gravel no problem.

He is also very smart and loves to just be wherever you are at the time. He has no fears:) I know that is partly his personality and not just the breed but I love them anyway :)

  9. great dane is the best breed.my favorite is pit bulls because there sweet & cuddly

  10. um i kinda love them all.....  but once i  rode a mustang paint. he was gorgeous and a total sweetheart!!!!!!

  11. Don't Know If I Could Choose Just One Ha Ha..

I Love Frisians Because Of Their Movement And Looks.

But Shetlands Because Of Their Little Cheeky Attitudes HaHa.

  12. My favorite breed is the Americas oldest breed. The  Morgan Horse!!!! I own 25 of them!!

They are reliable, loyal, tireless & versatile.Morgans have remarkably few medical conditions present in the breed. There are rare occurrences of equine conditions that are common to most or all other breeds of horses. Morgans are a long-lived, very healthy breed and suffer remarkably few problems with their legs and feet. They are well known for being easy keepers. They need a minimum of grain and grass compared with most other breeds. Morgans excel in virtually all disciplines. They are one of the premier carriage horses in the world, and are used for combined driving, competitive trail, and endurance riding, eventing, working western events, dressage, all show ring disciplines. Morgans were a favored mount by cavalry soldiers in the Civil War. They were sensible under fire. The could march tirelessly all day. They maintained their condition on unpredictable rations. And they were loyal to their riders in all circumstances. Morgans recorded by Civil War stories include Reinzi, Charlemagne, Little Sorrel. The Quarter horse stallion Joe Bailey was a son of Headlight Morgan. Jubilee King, a famous Morgan, was also registered under the Quarter Horse name of Yellow Jacket. Yet another well-known Quarter Horse sire, Joe Hancock, was sired by Redolent, a son of the Morgan Red Oak. In 1920 the King Ranch of Kingsville, Texas, purchased the two-year-old colt Lucky from the U.S. Government Farm for the purpose of upgrading the stock horses they were breeding. Countless Morgan mares were purchased from farms in Illinois and turned out on the range in the King Ranch remuda but can not be identified as the offspring they produced where shown as being out of “Morgan Mare” in the original AQHA registry books. Ninety-percent of today’s Saddlebreds carry Morgan blood. The original list of stallions selected as foundation sires by the National Saddle Horse Breeder’s Association in 1899 included the Morgan stallions Cabell’s Lexington and Coleman’s Eureka. Today, the majority of Saddlebreds carry Morgan blood through the Black Hawk grandsons, Gist’s Black Hawk and Indian Chief; and the great-grandson, Peavine. Tennessee Walking Horses owe much to early Morgan blood. The foundation sire, Allan F-1, traced to Black Hawk through his dam. His son, Roan Allen F-38, was also out of a mare tracing to Gifford Morgan. The early Morgan contributed bottom, stamina, substance and purity of gait at the trot to the lines of the American Standardbred, enhancing the speed later given to the breed by the Hambletonian stallion. The Morgan breed was founded by horses who were able to work the fields by day, pull an elegant buggy to church and race all challengers when the opportunity presented itself.  They are deep bodied and compact, the Morgan has strongly muscled quarters. The intelligence, willingness, zest for life, and good sense of the Morgan is blended with soundness of limb, athleticism, and stamina. They are great  for everything I need them for. They have heart &  that is awsome!! I love them!!! Great breed!!!!!!

They have real intelligence, personality, color, courage and if you're really lucky, they'll gait.
